Durable, thin blade designed for cutting up to 3mm. The 109 is intended for complete hands-off approach for maintenance , and requires little oil or care when handling, compared to the HM-108 nipper. While it looks similar to the Games Workshop sidecutter, the 109 cuts extremely cleanly compared to it.
